We collect information that can personally identify you (“personally identifiable information”), such as your name, billing and mailing address(es), telephone number, e-mail address, date of birth, and credit card information, when you use our Sites, create a SAUER account, or provide to us online or through our customer support. We may also ask for your information when you enter or participate in promotions, surveys, contests, sweepstakes.

Our server logs automatically collect information, such as your IP address, your browser type and language, and the date and time of your visit, which helps us track users' movements around our site and understand trends.

SAUER may assign your computer one or more cookies which may collect information to facilitate access to our Sites and to personalize your online experience. SAUER may use standard Internet tools, such web beacons, which collect information that tracks your use of our Sites and enables us to customize our services and advertisements.

How We Collect and Use Information

SAUER does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, do not use or provide any information on the Sites or through any of its features, make any purchases through the Sites, or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address or any user name you may use. In the event that SAUER ever does so without verification of parental consent, we will strictly comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. Communications: If you provide SAUER with personally identifiable information, we may use it to provide you with information regarding SAUER and its products and services. For example, we may communicate information regarding promotions, surveys, contests, sweepstakes or product or service updates. Your personally identifiable information may also be used to improve and customize the Sites’ content, layout and services.

If you contact a customer service representative or jewelry consultant and provide personally identifiable information to the consultant or submit a request through the Sites, we will use your information to respond and to provide you with all additional information that we believe may be helpful to you.

In addition, if you place an order with SAUER, we will use your personally identifiable information to confirm your order, prevent and detect fraud or abuse, respond to your requests or inquiries, provide you with other administrative information regarding your order and provide you with any other information we believe may be helpful to you.

We may, by our sole discretion, edit the length of your feedback or testimonials for marketing purposes.

IP Address: When you visit the Sites, SAUER collects your IP address to assess, diagnose problems, and improve functioning of the Sites, servers, and hosting providers as well as to analyze trends and traffic patterns, gather demographic information, and track the date, time, and duration of each session within the Sites. Your IP address may also be used in combination with your personally identifiable information for credit fraud protection and risk reduction.

Data Collection Devices, such as Cookies and Web Beacons: In some instances, SAUER may collect non-personally identifiable data through the use of cookies, web logs, web beacons and other monitoring technologies. Where authorized by us, third parties may use cookies, SAUER's web log files, web beacons and other monitoring technologies to compile aggregate statistics on SAUER’s behalf to improve the usability, performance and effectiveness of the Sites and marketing programs. We may share or transfer non-personally identifiable information with or to our parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees and partners.

Control Over Your Data

We provide our Site users with control over their personally identifiable information. You may:

If we find that your verifiable consumer request is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded, we may charge a reasonable fee to respond to your request. We will not discriminate against you for requesting any of the rights outlined above.

Cookie Notice

"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. We use cookies on certain pages of the Sites to, among other things, analyze our web page flow, measure promotional effectiveness, deliver you a more customized shopping experience, track visits from our parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and partners and allow the use of our shopping cart. SAUER Account: By creating a user name and password of your choice, you may access your SAUER account online at any time to view and/or edit your profile, address book, payment methods, order history, and email preferences. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your SAUER account login information.

Retaining Your Personally Identifiable Information: We retain your personally identifiable information only for as long as necessary for the purposes it was retained, such as to provide services to you.
